We just love this place.

If you are looking at this page then a dear friend must have told you about our special piece of paradise in Manly Cove.

The story so far...

Most weekends Lex and I move our kids into the apartment for the weekend. Our kids call it “Holidays” little Chlo and Nic love Pizza on Friday nights and I love watching the yachts taking into Manly Cove on Friday twilight racing. Saturday morning you wake to kayak clubs, yoga clases and the 3 toot sound of the Manly Ferry reversing to start its 30 minute trip to circular quay.

It really is paradise.

The crazy thing is that we live 7 minutes away in Seaforth in the perfect family home. We needed a place we could use on weekends but didn’t feel like driving to the central coast each Friday. Lexie used to run a Global business and has friends from all over the world who visit each year. We wanted a place for them as well.

Its all very luxurious and indulgent isn’t it!

Here’s the rub...I want to make the purchase viable from an investment point of view. Family and friends help with that anyway but to make it really hum and to keep it sustainable I need 10 people a year to come and stay for a week at a time and pay a small private rental amount. But I don’t want to empty the fridge of beer or worry about wine in the rack (drink and replace with like). I want to leave my thongs and boardies in the cupboard (use them if they fit).

In short we don’t want holiday rentals. We want friends of friends to come and share in the vibe of this very special place.

What can you expect

Well I am sure you have been told already by one of our mates, it really is fabulous. Two bedrooms. Kind bed in Master and separating king singles in the second bedroom. Perfect for 2 kids, 2 adults or a second couple when attached as a second king bed. Fully equipped kitchen (why would you though with some of Sydney best restaurants 3-5 minute walk) Beach across the road. Ceiling fans in every room. DVD and 23 inch LCD screen. Bose Sound system. Super fast wireless broadband. All very cool!

Gorgeous leather lounges, Duxiana luxury pillows, 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton linen, it’s all good!

Monday to Monday bookings (we can discuss weekends etc) But to make it worthwhile we really just need to keep it simple.
